MOV
"Men Ministry"

It is a fact that the strength of the family as well as in the community rests on the shoulders of the men. God has deemed that the man is the head and the priest of the house, however since so many men are missing, much of the chaos and confusion can be attributed to the absence of men.

In the Word of God we find that when Israel was in trouble, the men had deserted and become missing from their respective post, the angel of the Lord visited a farmer hiding from the enemy. In Judges Ch. 6 verse 12, we see that even though the men were displaced, God still had a specific use and purpose for him. While hiding, the angel called a man named Gideon a mighty man of valor or a valiant warrior. The emphasis is that the man was hiding and not in his place. We can all attest that this is the plight of our men today. The churches are littered with women and children but no head. The family unit is incomplete because men are hiding for responsibilities and from themselves. Just as the men of Israel were hiding because of the pressure imposed by the enemy, so are our men today. The enemy of drugs, alcohol, sexual perversion, immorality, addictions and the moral decay of the social order have caused men to hide.

It is the desire of the MOV to help men of all walks of life to come out of hiding and become the kings and priest that God mandated us to be. With the help of God and the determination of a few good men, we will take our rightful places in the home, church, community and society. We will be fathers to our children, husbands to our wives and a credit to our communities.
